Woolrich's outsiders for the FW22 collection
Between nature and outdoor garments
August 3rd, 2022
Woolrich's FW22 advertising campaign celebrates the brand's strong connection to American culture and nature, shaping a collection of outdoor garments designed for a community strongly connected to the environment. The wilderness and landscapes that inspired the collection were the starting point for developing The Outsiders concept, a group of young protagonists who, cast in immersive imagery, explore the dimension and experience of nature. The campaign tells of the many ways through which we can explore and travel, not only with our bodies but also with our minds, moving away from our usual perception of reality and the world to discover what lies beyond our limits.
The concept of The Outsiders was interpreted by four different personalities linked to Woolrich's ideals and values: Dajana Radovanovic, Alexina Graham, Alex Ordonez and Nathaniel Atakora Martin were portrayed in a campaign set in Wyoming (USA), in places such as Red Rock Ranch, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Colter Bay and Curtis Canyon, each of which is closely related to each of the protagonists. Directed by a creative team based in Los Angeles, the campaign was shot by photographer Clara Balzary and director of photography Robbie Corral, who, working side by side, created a shared project with a clear vision. Anda and Masha created the looks: the stylist duo managed to blend street style with new trends, creating looks perfect for Woolrich's narrative.
