Gucci gifted a star to the guests of its upcoming show

Tonight, on the occasion of the astronomical phenomenon known as the Blood Supermoon, which is a total lunar eclipse that will dye the full moon red over the course of the night, Gucci will hold its new show entitled Cosmogonies at Castel del Monte. As part of the invitations, each participant has been given a certificate to adopt a star that has been registered in his or her name. Proceeds from the adoption will be donated to the White Dwarf Research Corporation and the support of astronomical research.

The lunar eclipse will begin tonight at 3:38 a.m. Italian time, become total at 5:29 a.m. and culminate at 6:11 a.m. lasting for about forty minutes. In Italy, the dimming will begin at dawn and therefore will be difficult to observe but it will be possible to watch it live streamed on the website of Virtual Telescope Project.
