April 1st, 2022
Zalando today unveiled its new campaign, titled Go Noticed, which celebrates the uniqueness of everyone's personal style in the world of streetwear, based on the idea that streetwear is born of individuality, creativity and uniqueness. The campaign video, which will become a TV spot, stars German-Spanish actor and singer Aron Piper, Italian and Polish musicians Yendry and Żabson, French rapper Chilla and dance group Let It Happen. They are also joined by Jdid Club, a group of Parisian creatives, Swiss rapper and Superwak Clique collective member SLIMKA, DJ and sneakerhead Dani aka Wide Awake Earthquake, Brussels rapper JeanJass, Barcelona-based creative collective Cutemobb, creative and skater Pierre Leze and French bikers Tito and Fimbo. Each of these talents uses the campaign to tell their own unique style and personal interpretation of streetwear, with the end result reflecting the multiculturalism and inclusibleness of the streetwear community in Europe.
The styling of the campaign was done by Imruh Asha, Fashion Editor of Dazed & Confused with a series of outfits that express each person's personality. «At Zalando, we believe our vast assortment gives people the opportunity to experiment and express themselves through streetwear», told Marius Brintrup, Head of Buying Men Shoes and Accessories at Zalando. Continuing the campaign outside of the commercial, throughout March and April, Zalando will follow Aron Piper's styling for his music tour in Spain while the singer will share his 'Daily Style Fits', giving fans a preview of the outfits, also featured on Zalando's channels, that he will wear during each of his concerts.
The campaign will run across various formats including billboards and social media. In addition, Zalando will continue to celebrate the streetwear community with its digital magazine, Zalando Street. Each issue invites guest curators to share their personal stories of emerging and evolving streetwear cultures. The latest issue focuses on the emerging music scene in the Netherlands. It features rising star RIMON and explores the rich cultural diversity that has inspired the next generation of producers, DJs and artists.
