Dr. Martens celebrates the Year of the Tiger with a new drop The 1460 boot and a 1461 shoe wear a brindle upper

According to the ancient Chinese calendar, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. Among the brands that have decided to celebrate this majestic animal and the associated lunar year, there is Dr. Martens, with a new collection coming soon. Two of the iconic models were reworked by the Camden team who crafted a 1460 boot and a 1461 shoe with brindle uppers.

Both models are detailed with graphics and motifs that refer to the botanical world and the symbolism of the tiger as a symbol of strength and elegance. They are also enriched with laser engravings to render the "scratched" effect and enhanced by details made with flocking, a printing solution that involves the transfer of synthetic fibers onto the packaging by means of electrostatic force. The new collection, in a limited edition, features a golden tiger claw pendant, also golden eyelets and a red insole. Both finished with the iconic yellow stitching and equipped with a personalized box, they differ in the sole: the 1460 boot stands out on a red sole, while the 1461 shoes rest on a classic dark gray sole.

The Lunar New Year collection will be available on the drmartens.com website and in selected stores starting from January.
