Teased by Kanye West a few months ago, the Yeezy Knit Runner is set to make its debut in a very limited release. Ye's new creation will arrive tomorrow exclusively on Yeezy Supply, making the sneaker a de facto exclusive for the American territory.
Formerly known as Turreliens in honor of artist James Turrell, at first glance the YEEZY KNIT RNR may remind you of the shape similar to that of Foam Runners. The real peculiarity of the new creation of Kanye West, however, is the composition entirely of knitted yarn. The first color scheme will combine a Sand upper with a honey yellow lower part, a color recently seen on several Yeezy prototypes and renamed for the occasion Sulfur.
With a retail price of $200, the YEEZY KNIT RNR marks a new step by Kanye towards deconstructing the traditional sneaker, once again working with innovative and sustainable materials. It will be up to us, once again, to take in West's message and welcome his latest creation into our sneaker rotation.
