The Alife x Timberland boat shoes with extra thick platform
The third collaboration between the two brands features a silhouette first created in 1978

Boat shoes have always represented one of the most symbolic and most successful items in Timberland's history, which over the seasons has updated and re-proposed them, making them the maximum expression of its creativity and taste, also in partnership with other brands, as done recently with Aimé Leon Dore.
Today Timberland returns to work at Alife, the New York-based reality that operates in different creative fields, which combine lifestyle and outdoor, giving life to the Authentic 3-Eye boat shoe with tank sole and extra-thick platform. The silhouette was first introduced by Timberland in 1978, combining the sturdy tank sole of the Yellow Boot with a premium leather boat shoe upper. For their third collaboration, Alife wanted to play with proportions, adding a few centimetres to the classic design of the shoe thanks to the inclusion of a thick EVA midsole to create a double layer look. The shoe also features a hand-stitched construction, 360° lacing system and Better Leather from a Silver-rated tannery for its responsible handling practices.
The collaboration is portrayed in the shots by the emerging artist Blake Kunin, through an editorial that shows real and authentic places in New York, thus paying homage to the founding elements of Alife, the creativity and energy of the city.
