Supreme has collaborated with the best fishing brand you probably never heard of
It's South2 West8, the Japanese cult brand led by Kaname Nagaoka

That after the lockdown everyone would have turned to the exploration of nature was clear: the outdoor world was perhaps one of the greatest inspirations behind last year's gorpcore movement. But according to Supreme, when we'll get tired of climbing the mountains we will all start fishing: that's why for its Spring collaboration, the New York brand co-signed a collection with the Japanese South2 West8, one of the brands of the Nepenthes arsenal that, unlike many other activity-oriented peers, focuses on the world of fishing and in particular on the Japanese fishing technique called tenkara (which involves the exclusive use of a rod, a line and an artificial bait).
As a very specialized techwear brand, but also in strong dialogue with fashion, the collection co-signed with Supreme places a lot of emphasis on outerwear, with a series of camouflage parkas, coats and fleece jackets (certainly the highlight of the collection) but that also includes trousers and shorts, a series of transparent mesh items, accessories such as bags and hats and even a tenkara fishing rod with Supreme colours.
