The summer gorpcore of the new Salomon x And Wander collaborative capsule

Among the various brands that have found new popularity thanks to the gorpcore and hiking trend, there's certainly Salomon, whose technical sneakers have become an object of worship over the last seasons, giving rise to numerous collaborations. One of these is with the And Wander brand founded by Japanese designers Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, who met working for Issey Miyake, with the intention of «fashion in nature/mountains just as enjoyable as everyday fashion». Now at their fourth collaboration with Salomon, the two designers have co-signed two new models: the Salomon Crosshike CSWP x And Wander sneaker and the Salomon Cross Sandal x And Wander.

Crosshike CSWP sneakers have mobility, exceptional grip performance and a seamless design that offers foot comfort. For the top, the two designers chose a closed mesh that does not allow foreign bodies to enter while the upper is covered with reflective rip-stop material to improve visibility in the dark. The Cross Sandal, on the other hand, is a special design that combines classic sandals with the lower unit of the Salomon Speedcross 5 – always with reflective details and a series of straps on the instep and heel.
