Fred Perry's new 'Made in Japan' capsule
With fluorescent details inspired by Shibuya's thousand lights
March 12th, 2021
For the SS21 season, Fred Perry introduces the Made in Japan capsule. The colours of the capsule, which reinterprets the staples of the brand, are inspired by the lights and mood of Tokyo at night. All the products of the new capsule are made in Japan according to J-quality certification, merging traditional Japanese techniques with the most innovative technologies.
The collection features a series of oversized cotton piquet Polo Shirts compared to the original M12, zippered track jacket and contrasting waist elastic and a cotton T-shirt with the iconic branded tape along the shoulders and neon details. The famous twin tipping that characterizes the sleeves and collar of the polo shirts and the Laurel Wreath logo embroidered on the chest light up in the dark to recall, even with the phosphorescences, signs and lights of the capital of Japan.
