Pitti Immagine sets new calendar for summer season

After the series of cancellations that unfortunately forced the organizers to cancel their physical calendars of 2020, Pitti Immagine returns and fixes its new dates in which, hopefully, it will be possible to organize physical presentations always in compliance with anti-contagion regulations. Unless there are further interruptions, therefore, the event will be held in the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 15 to 17 June. Also for this reason, the event will last three days and not four but invitations to exhibitors have already been sent to schedule the calendar of the fair – always following, as Pitti's CEO Raffaello Napoleone said, «l’evoluzione della situazione sanitaria».

Meanwhile, the Connect digital platform, which has hosted Pitti Immagine's virtual presentations so far, will remain active until the first week of April. In the weeks following the summer edition of Pitti Immagine, on the other hand, "sister" exhibitions such as Pitti Bimbo, Pitti Taste, Pitti Fragranze and Super are already scheduled, but also the exhibition of yarns at The Leopolda Station. The general manager of Pitti Immagine, Agostino Poletto, specified:

«The entire summer cycle will be characterized by a strong integration between the physical and the digital format, trying to take advantage of all the possibilities of breadth and depth of service that they offer».
