The latest adidas Skateboarding capsule collection by Mark Gonzales

Mark Gonzales, one of the most important and celebrated skaters in the history of the discipline, and adidas Skateboarding have spent the last two years working on the creation of a new sneaker that pays homage to Gonzales' career. 

The latest iteration of the Aloha Super sneaker is a tribute to the iconic portrait of Gonzales released in the skate bible, Thrasher magazine, in 1986, which featured Gonzales wearing a tee that read "Brainwash Victim".

The latest adidas Skateboarding and Mark Gonzales collaboration unveil the newest colourway of the Aloha Super silhouette in halo silver/white/core black and “Brainwash Victim” t-shirt in white.  Featuring a nubuck and leather upper with reinforced leather and eye stays for premium durability and custom artwork on the footbed and left heel tab, the Aloha Super was inspired by an adiStar Fencing shoe that Gonzales debuted during his historic 1998 performance piece at Städtisches Museum in Abteiberg, Germany.
