The gorpcore Made in Italy according to Demon by Slam Jam
The comeback of the iconic brand with three hiking boots that blend performance and fashion
November 30th, 2020
Over the last few seasons, gorpcore has become one of the most successful trends in the fashion industry. Brand and fashion enthusiasts have been searching for technical solutions that ensure very high performance and that are at the same time synonymous with elegance and avant-garde. A balance that is not easy to achieve that has always been an integral part of a brand with a very long history, now relaunched by Slam Jam.
Demon is in fact the latest new entry in the Slam Jam family, an Italian mountain footwear brand founded in 1963 in Montebelluna, in the heart of the Italian manufacturing area. After a period of hiatus, the brand is today relaunched in a completely new direction, but that remains faithful to its original vocation.
Demon's new identity doesn't in fact deny its origins, but instead makes them one of its strengths. Maintaining its devotion to the highest quality and the research typical of Italian manufacturing, the first collection by Demon offers an interweaving of technical solutions and avant-garde taste.
The debut collection, handcrafted in Italy, features three styles, all enriched by high performing characteristics. With their squared toe with telemark Vibram outsole, the Graelòn boots are made special by a waterproof anti-abrasion microfibre with branding on site. The Carbonàz boots are extra light thanks to the Putek Textile upper membrane and an extra light Vibram rubber outsole. The Poyana shoes are made of vegetable-tanned leather and are ultra-resistant with an eFoam Protection Binding.
Demon's new collection is available exclusively at Slam Jam, in-store and online.
