After adidas, Yosuke Aizawa of White Mountaineering, the Japanese outerwear brand with a distinctive DIY aesthetic, chose Saucony for a new collaboration that has at its centre the reinterpretation of two archive sneakers, the already famous Grid Web, one of the most popular silhouettes of the Saucony Originals line, and the Switchback Iso.
The new Grid Web features a high and irregular sole and slightly oversized shape in two different variations: the is black and white while the second is a weave of pink, purple and peach that particularly enhances the contrast between the TPU mesh, the protective lace covers and the mesh structure. The white mountaineering inscription runs along the side heel. The Switchback Iso is characterized by an ISOFit structure that combines with the BOA wheel lacing system and the shaped interest in contrast to the double density PWRTrac sole. Aesthetically, the model is defined by the black and white overlays of the upper.
