Acne Studios new scarf collection
The item symbol of the Swedish brand returns for the cold season
November 5th, 2020
After opening the doors of its brutalist headquarters, Acne Studios unveils now the collection of scarves for the Fall-Winter 2020 season, the new proposal dedicated to one of the brand's staple items.
The brand led by Jonny Johansson takes the scarf collection to a new level thanks to a series of images shot by photographer Anders Edström, who portrayed different subjects while admiring the works of art of the Thiel Gallery in Stockholm, in an interplay between the viewer and the observed artwork.
With its wide variety of colours, patterns and sizes, the scarf collection includes elaborate details and explores new textures, such as the Toronty blanket-inspired scarf and the Vally model with fringes. Made in a mix of wools, the Toronty model features the brand's macro jacquard logo on both sides and combines two contrasting colours. The colour range of the season includes combinations of flesh pink and grey, brick red and light blue, black and white, red and brown. The Vally model is a checkered scarf with fringed edges and a logo patch, made in a mix of alpaca, wool and mohair.
