The new Helly Hansen Archive/HH -118389225-202 collection
Inspired by the archive models of the brand
October 30th, 2020
Helly Hansen has unveiled today, together with the Copenhagen retailer Storm, the second collection of its HH-118389225 line, created to rediscover and reinterpret the brand's archive models. In particular, this collection is inspired by the E-352 Offshore Survival Suit created by Helly Hensen in the late 1990s. The Survival Suit was originally designed as a workwear piece for those working in extreme cold conditions, includes built-in gloves and boots, and is both waterproof and fireproof.
The construction of the Survival Suit inspired the characteristics of the collection's garments such as 3-Layer Shell technology, ultra-large welded seams, reflective details and patch pockets. Among the most important items in the collection, there are certainly the parka "Artic Survival" – the most visually close to the original Survival Suit – and the combo of sweaters and padded trousers. The rest of the collection also includes a t-shirt and reversible puffer jacket.
