After the release of the "Light Gray" model in early October, Slam Jam and Nike are preparing for the second chapter of their collaboration by presenting the first official images of the new silhouette Slam Jam x Nike Dunk High "Clear Black". On the occasion of the first collaboration, Slam Jam founder Luca Benini explained how his main values in co-signing the sneaker were "simplicity and attention to innovative details" - two values that also inspired the incoming "Clear Black", apparently simple but actually full of subtle, noteworthy touches.
The base of the upper is made of white leather that contrasts with the texture of the black overlays in soft suede. The Swoosh, shiny and set in a sheath of semi-opaque black plastic material that reaches the heel forming a tab on which Slam Jam's branding is engraved, immediately come to the eye. On the tongue, Nike's branding appears upside down (a reference to the collaboration "Class of '77" Blazer) while the laces are white on one side and black on the other. On the tip there is a single line of perforations and, finally, the semi-transparent midsoles complete the silhouette.
