The new New Balance 920 Made in UK
Dropping September 26
September 25th, 2020
New Balance is perhaps the brand that produces the best normcore shoes in the industry. Despite its elaborate collaborations, its internal mythology composed of more or less localized lines and a series number and virtually infinite silhouettes, the New Balance sneakers are real classics, the definitive dad shoes. Recently, the brand also introduced an entirely new model: the New Balance 920 Made in the UK.
Built at the Flimby factory in Cumbria, the new silhouette was designed inspired by the brand's classic and iconic 900 and 1000 series. The model introduced, called M920NBR, is designed for men and features a dominant grey shade with blue, black and burgundy red details. Like all Made in UK models of New Balance, the 920 was created with premium materials: the top is made of mesh and pigskin while the school is equipped with ENCAP technology. This, however, is only the first in a series of 920 colours that will be presented from September until November to celebrate the launch of this new silhouette Made in Flimby.
