The new capsule collection by Vans pays homage to The Simpsons

Few other shows have made the history of television like The Simpsons. Currently at their season 31, they are the longest-running prime time show ever, a cultural phenomenon that began in 1990 and is still on the crest today. Pillar of pop culture, this year the most famous yellow family in the world is also celebrated by Vans, that has always been at the forefront for celebrating American culture with its collaborations. More than thirty years after their first airing Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are just some of the protagonists of an exclusive capsule collection that does not forget all the other inhabitants of Springfield: from Boe to Otto Disc, Krusty the Clown, Itchy & Scratchy, Vans presented an exuberant collection of shoes, clothing and accessories that celebrates the most iconic moments of the historic series, obviously in the original shades of yellow and blue.

Among the sneakers, the two most anticipated models are the Chukka Pro and the Sk8-Low, both a tribute to Bart Simpson and his "El Barto" stunts. But the assortment of shoes includes 8 other models: there are the Old Skool with the prints of Boe and the twin Bouvier, while the Era series presents images of Scratchy. Lisa is portrayed on a lavender-colored Sk8-Hi, while on the Sk8-Hi MTE model there is the unforgettable Mr. Plow (a cult born in the episode S04E09). The collection is completed by a color-blocking Slip-On Pro and a Slide-On sandal inspired by Homer's famous pink donuts.

Talking about the clothes selection, there is the fleece dedicated to Lisa, a crew neck model with a fluorescent "Lisa Simpson for President" print; the Simpsons Check backpack with the iconic Vans checkerboard print in Simpson yellow; a short-sleeved t-shirt with the logo on the chest and a family scene on the back; a hoodie in two colors, black and white, but also the blue hoodie with Bart's skull on the back and on the chest. But the highlight is the Otto Disc tie-dye t-shirt, along with the long-sleeved t-shirt dedicated to Krusty the Clown, with the Krusty Burger logos on the left sleeve and the menu printed on the back. Finally, the socks with checkerboard motif.
