July 8th, 2020
Following their debut in the spring of 2019 at the Studio 70 event during Milan Design Week, this week Converse proposes the silhouette of the Chuck 70 Reconstructed. For the occasion, Converse proposes the two classic models in the colors in Black, Egret and for the first time ever has revealed the coloration in Red. The announcement was accompanied by a campaign shot by photographer Chiara Gabellini and a video with the soundtrack by Clovis. The model will be available exclusively at the Slam Jam stores starting from July 9, 2020, at the price of 140 €.
The Chuck 70 is a modern ode to the Chuck Taylor All Star and is inspired by the original design from the Seventies (hence the name). The silhouette best represents the evolution of the sneaker, which over the years has evolved to become the pinnacle of functionality and utility for sport. Made with high quality materials, deliberate shades and extraordinary attention to detail, Chuck 70 has always been a blank canvas on which designers and artists from all over the world have given vent to their creativity. The Chuck 70 Reconstructed is characterized by an exposed cut-and-sew seam, tonal canvas contrast, and a translucent outsole.
