Helas unveils its SS20 collection with a lookbook shot by Maxime Verret in a shopping mall in the suburbs of Paris. The French brand founded by Lucas Puig, Clément Brunel and Stephen Khou returns to its roots, evoking the carefree period when young skaters with their unique aesthetic, reflecting a lifestyle rather than a simple trend, defied the conventions dictated by society. The result is a series of items that blend authentic skate culture with sportswear and ready-to-wear to create effortless and timeless looks.
The collection includes both functional and casual items such as full black & full camo "Gang" tracksuits and pyjama pants with prints of the sunshine. There are also classic t-shirts, hoodies and accessories with the iconic Helas umbrella logo. This time, the accessories also include an original pack of cards.
The collection will be available from next Wednesday, May 20th on helascaps.com.
The launch of the collection is accompanied by a video directed by Shota Sakami that shows the behind the scenes of the lookbook.
