UNIQLO's T-shirt collection inspired by 'Evangelion'
To celebrate the release of the new movie "Rebuild of Evangelion 4.0"
April 17th, 2020
After the partnership with Daniel Arsham and Pokémon, UNIQLO UT is now ready to unveil a new collection dedicated to Evangelion.
On the occasion of the Japanese release (scheduled for next summer) of the movie Rebuild of Evangelion 4.0, the retailer has unveiled 8 t-shirts made special by a mix of existing and new artworks evoking the cult universe created by Hideaki Anno in 1995.
The tees, painted in red, blue, white and black, feature the iconic coloured EVA suits, the fearsome Angels or the Nerv pilot Kaworu Nagisa, but also the words "Beast Form 2nd Phase", a reference to the mecha combat mode.
The collection is available from April 17th on UNIQLO Japan's online store, while a global release is yet to be announced.
