Miuccia's looks are the real Prada show
The cult of Miuccia Prada goes through her most memorable outfits

The intellectual designer. Miuccia Prada has always been considered "the bad girl" of fashion, but she's very much more than the activist that handed out communist fliers while wearing Yves Saint Laurent and emeralds. Today Prada is one of the most beloved brands all over the world, and surely it's not because of its prices. Instead, it's been thanks to its designer and only her: Miuccia, "Miu Miu" for her family and close friends, the designer that everyone would love to be friends with. Instagram is full of fan profiles dedicated to her: for example, @whatmiuccia collects precisely every look that she wore.
At the end of every show she makes her appereance for the final bow always smiling, in one of the most anticipated moments of every Fashion Week. It's fair to say that over the years Miuccia has created a show within the show (a hype that maybe she's not even conscious of).
An icon of elegance, her gipsy bourgeois style is her signature look. Over the years she's never been afraid to dare, whether it was to wear sandals with socks, neon fringe dresses or a mix and match of different patchworks. Not to mention the Pocono, a peculiar type of resistant nylon that she was the first to use in the production of her grandpa's suitcases. At the same time, as opposed to Anna Dello Russo's mantra (who in 2012 sang "fashion is always uncomfortable"), Miuccia has never given up on comfort: it's impossible to spot her wearing a look she's not comfortable and at ease in, while it's very common to find her sitting on a step while sipping Chardonnay wine.
Mrs Prada is now getting ready for a new challenge: on the closing day of the Milan Fashion Week Women's FW20, she gave the official announcement that Raf Simons is about to become Prada co-creative director starting from April 2. a We can't wait to see what the duo will wear for their first final bow together.
