Only a few Italian brands have managed to be as cross-cutting and multidisciplinary as Touch The Wood. Founded in Rome by deejays and producer Marco G. & Mr. Kite, the Touch The Wood phenomenon started from music to include fashion and lifestyle. The brand has launched today its FW19 line under the name "One Step Beyond" presenting it in a campaign shot with an analogue camera in the Park of Appia Antica. The line is a tribute to the greatest icon of the city of Rome: the
Colosseum. The graphics that portray it are present on T-shirts, hoodies and on the stadium scarf. In particular, the hoodie features reflective details designed to shine in the low light of Goa Club where the parties of Touch The Wood, one of the epicentres of the capital's
underground scene, take place. In addition to the items with the graphics of the Colosseum, the collection includes other items with logo graphics and also socks and a beanie with the embroidered logo. The
four main colourways in the collection are black, white, teal and lilac.
To really understand Touch The Wood, however, and
the unique fusion of music and fashion from which their apparel line was born, you have to go to their parties, hosted by the
Goa Club in Rome. There are
four scheduled for the month of December: Friday 6, Saturday 14 and Friday 20, while the last party of the year will be held on
New Year's Eve at Villa Veientana.
