The sustainable style of Timberland x Raeburn FW19
Remade Reduced Recycled
October 31st, 2019
Last January, during the London Fashion Week, Christopher Raeburn made his debut as Global Creative Director of Timberland with a sustainable collection that now hits the shelves. The inspiration for the FW19 season were decommissioned military parachutes used by aeronautical pilots which, reworked following the Remade Reduced and Recycled philosophy, became original and edgy clothing and accessories. Every item, from the iconic Weatherbreaker jacket to the Brooklyn Fabric Mid Hiker, to the wide selection of shoes and bags, has been made using organic and recycled materials, including ReBOTL™, Timberland's signature material made for at least 40% of recycled plastic.
The new Timberland x Raeburn collection is synonymous with sustainable, smart fashion design, while mainating its coolness and appeal. In order to enhance the clothes, the British designer has focused on geometric color blocking in shades of red, gray, black and olive. The unique detail? The original Timberland x Raeburn band, which not only decorates some items, but is used as a lace, zip hook, stitching cover.
The entire range of shoes, clothing and bags for autumn-winter 2019 is available from the end of October in selected premium stores around the world. For more information, visit timberland.com.
