MFW Hotel, the film for Milan Fashion Week SS20
The Camera Nazionale della Moda celebrates the beginning of the Fashion Week
September 17th, 2019
The Milan Fashion Week officially kicks off today, September 17th. To celebrate and remember the event that will attract the sector's elite to the Lombard city, the National Chamber for Italian Fashion (CNMI) has asked the creativity factory The Blink Fish to create a video for such an important occasion. The project, entitled MFW Hotel and directed by Giacomo Boeri and Matteo Grimaldi, features Anina Kokorina. The model, in the role of a waitress, wanders the hallways and rooms of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Milan, where, in an atmosphere reminiscent of a softer version of American Horror Story: Hotel, she meets strange creatures. A way to talk about inclusion, diversity and uniqueness, values that are strongly promoted by the CNMI.
The different looks of the film's cast were picked by the fashion editor and stylist Georgia Tal, who chose garments created by local brands: Annakiki, The Attico, L'Autre Chose, MSGM, Paula Cademartori, Sara Battaglia, Stella Jean, and Vivetta.
