Nike family acquires a new member ready to become a staple among sneakerheads: the Nike Air Max 270 React. First seen worn by the U.S. Soccer Women's National Team players, the new shoes are the result of the union between the Nike Air Max 270 and the Nike React.

Dylan Raasch, Nike Senior Sportswear Design Director, unveiled the model with a new construction method inspired by the Element React 87, the "bar tack technique", which blends different materials by layering them seamlessly while still being able to reproduce the appearance of a traditional aesthetic of cutting and sewing, perfect for allowing a wide range of color combinations.
The result is a product in synthetic leather and nylon, with a large swoosh in the medial area semi-hidden between the lacing system, the mudguard, the heel and equipped with an attractive Airbag unit. The Air Max 270 will be launched in two different color variations inspired by the colors and geometries of Bauhaus, the famous German art school celebrating its centenary. The first version combines a white-based upper with black, blue, red, green and yellow accents, while the second version opts for white, blue, red and yellow. Each pair of sneakers comes with a unique insole design that can be abstract or minimal. Other color combinations planned for next fall should include geometries and patterns inspired by sixteenth-century art, the psychedelic history of San Francisco.
