Among murals, contemporary art museums and skyscrapers, the new UNIQLO UT collection is presented and created in collaboration with street artist Brian Donnelly, better known as KAWS. A way to remain faithful to the values of minimal Japanese elegance and to the concept of LifeWear, which finds its highest expression in the city.
UNIQLO's basic lines and colours have turned the brand into an icon of contemporary fashion, surpassing the normal concept of trends. In this collection the T-shirts are the canvas, the white sheet or rather the wall on which the characters that accompany the works of art of KAWS has come to life since the 90s.
The New Jersey artist and his characters BFF and Companion are a true icon for the generation Z, similar to how Andy Warhol was for the previous generations, also thanks to the numerous collaborations in the fashion world.
These new Milanese creatives posed for the launch of the UT collection, including murals and contemporary art museums, under the eyes of photographer Jonathan Santoro.
The new tees and pocket tees will be available from Thursday, June 6 at the UNIQLO online store.
