Virgil Abloh x IKEA: pricelist and release date
Ready to cop?
March 14th, 2019
We've all been looking forward to it for months and now, finally, we know when the collection created by Virgil Abloh x IKEA will hit stores. The first drop is scheduled for November 2019, although some rumors claim that already in April or May the two partners could open pop-up stores where they can preview the first items. After several previews over the past year and the presentation of the collection, entitled Markerad, unveiled entirely at IKEA's Democratic Design Day at its headquarters in Älmhult, Sweden, we can give you some details on prices ranging from € 229 for the "WET GRASS" rug for € 9.99 for the small bag, from € 279 for the table to € 69.95 for the chair, furniture that many believe looks a bit too much like another one created in the 1950s by Paul McCobb for his Planner Group series.
The entire line, designed for a house inhabited by millennials with a typical minimal and conceptual style, includes rugs, paintings, chairs, cabinets, bags, cushions, clocks, door stops, mirrors, tables and sofas. Ready to go shopping?
