Balenciaga releases its latest campaign video

Balenciaga just dropped their latest campaign video, which transports us into virtual digital worlds with heavy 90’s era references of the possibilities that lay within a budding internet. Taking clear references from some memorable bits of 90's popular culture, like The Matrix movie, the campaign is a cyber-spy tale of chases and mysterious mission objectives, complete with hardware downloads straight into the brain, and low bit special effects to place us into alternate virtual realities. There are even a few Mortal Kombat homages in the fight scenes.

Presenting a few of the SS19 standout pieces, we get shots of tapered suits, trenchcoats, accessories like the futuristic sunglasses, logo bags, and the new, hiking inspired, all black Track Sneakers.
