Twenty years have passed since 1999 when Levi's launched the Engineered Jeans, an innovative and loved item that became a huge success and then a pop icon. The legend returns now relive again in a collection that adapts the famous garment to current trends, creating a unique connection between heritage and avant-garde, between past and present.
The SS19 proposal, maintaining all the charm and original design of the 90s, introduces jersey items like joggers, shorts, t-shirts and updates Trucker Jacket and Twisted Jeans experimenting with the 3D mesh technology, which saves on the amount of fabric, seams but especially on weaving time. These new variants of the 502 Regular Taper and 512 Slim Taper models, for men and for women ware characterized by a relaxed and comfortable fit. All created with with the purpose of providing maximum comfort and freedom of movement and characterized by a red two-horse back patch, inner pockets printed with the Levi’s Engineered Jeans logo, and a Levi’s Engineered Jeans printed hanger loop. To celebrate this special return, HIGHXTAR made an interesting editorial, shot by the photographer Enanei with the artistic direction of Alfredo Santamaría, which connects the legacy of Levi's Engineered with the present.
