With the collaboration of 6 artists

The brand directed by Alessandro Michele, in fact, has decided to join, as already done by colleagues like Isabel Marant or Fendi, the trend of the cozy granpa sweater, but with a bit more creativity. How? Extending the DIY program to the Gucci's knitwear. Thus a wide range of customizable items with an initial inlaid is born: crew-neck sweaters, bomber jackets and front buttoned cardigans available in four basic colors (green, blue, red and white), embellished with stripes on the lower edge, cuffs and sleeves that recall the Maison Web band. To make the offer even more special, there is the packaging, special packaging, decorated cream-colored boxes with black borders decorated with the gold inscription "ABCDEFGUCCI", the intertwined double-G motif and the web ribbon of the Maison in blue and red.
Always attentive to the world of art and the search for talent, Florentine brand has chosen 6 artists to celebrate the new garments in Gucci DIY knitwear. Each of them has included the customized models in original works published on the company's social channels and on the official site. Among the most interesting are the cute ghosts of Angela Deane, who wear the sweaters of the collection on backgrounds of winter scenes; the portrait-illustrations of Isabella Cotier, and the creations full of details of the artist and illustrator Marc Burkhardt, who have as protagonists a gorilla and a tiger.
