New ACRONYM® pieces dropping today
Brand new cuts, colors, and materials
October 17th, 2018
In the world of techwear the brand ACRONYM® really operates on a level of its own. Head designer Errolson Hugh has an attention to quality and detail that in many ways stands unrivaled. Famous for its last-second drops, today sees the likely final drop of the FW season. Never one to become stagnant in his expression, today's drop features the rather rare use of the color white, which hasn’t really been used monochromatically since its first season, and Hugh has otherwise used in the ACRONYM® x Nemen collaboration, be it with a faded splash of red on the hoodie, and then in Hugh’s designs for Nike’s ACG line. Though we can't completely confirm it yet, a few of the jackets and full-lengths look to be incorporating the new GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ material, which is a softer, more flexible material than their staple textiles, while still offering full weather protection. For the keen observers among you, the lookbook also teases a never before seen colorway of the ACRONYM® Nike Presto sneaker, in a very clean grey and silver edition, possible only for friends and fam, possibly the next colorway to be released.
