The new Balenciaga High Tech Track sneaker drops today

After the great success of both the sleek Sock Runner and chunky Triple S sneakers, Balenciaga today releases the next step in their evolution of sneaker designs, the Track High Tech Sneaker. With fashions current trend of more technical and outdoor gear influencing designs, this new clearly trekking boot inspired silhouette, with panels and reinforced sole, shows off Balenciaga's take on the trend for a more rugged technical shoe. The Track shoes have been drip dropping over the last month at special events, but today sees the shoe available for a wider release worldwide. Available in five colorways, in orange and blue, blue and green, yellow and grey, white and orange, and in all black.

If this new silhouette will live up to the success of the Sock Runner and Triple S remains to be seen, especially with the waning popularity of both Demna Gvasalia’s directed brands Vetements, and Balenciaga, we are still sure that these will be seen around a fair amount this fall season as this quite original layered design and technical aesthetic will fit the current trend well.
