adidas Originals announce a creative partnership with Childish Gambino
The rapper and actor is the new brand co-creator

A few days ago we reported on the new Childish Gambino video, Feels Like Summer, and now the Atlanta actor, director and rapper, real name Donald Glover, has chosen another cartoon to make an important announcement.
In a short film released on both adidas Originals and Gambino's Instagram was revealed the new collaboration between the German sportswear giant and Donald Glover. Donald joins the adidas Originals team as a Brand Co-Creator, and will work on many different projects, from footwear to apparel.
Jenny Pham, Global Marketing and Communications Senior Director at adidas Originals, declared that this collaboration will be different form any other, born to create something new and revolutionary. Glover himself commented:
"adidas Originals has given me the opportunity to create on my own terms, I believe it's important not to feel like ideas are bound by specific guidelines. I'm looking forward to seeing what that leads to."
In the visual announcement we see an animated Donald putting on a pair of classic adidas sneakers: we're looking forward to seeing his new creations.
