Anna Wintour Forever
No, the "devil" does not retire
August 2nd, 2018
She goes away. No, stay. No, she's ready to leave. What will Anna Wintour do?
After months of rumors about his imminent goodbye, now an unexpected news has arrived: Anna Wintour will be Vogue director for life.
The announcement came as a surprise by Bob Sauerberg, CEO of Conde Nast Condé Nast, who in an interview silenced once and for all every speculation:
«Anna Wintour is an incredibly talented and creative leader whose influence is beyond measure. She is integral to the future of our company’s transformation and has agreed to work with me indefinitely in her role as @voguemagazine editor-in-chief and artistic director of Conde Nast.»

So all the theories that Wintour imagined, to the direction of the US edition of Vogue since 1988, ready to abandon the magazine after the wedding (which took place on July 7th in Long Island) of his daughter Bee Shaffer with the son of Franca Sozzani, Francesco Carrozzini, and after the release of the iconic September Issue (which this year will have on the cover Beyoncé).
Thus, the "devil" does not retire and will remain forever to dictate to us, poor mortals, the rules of style, to decide the fate of designers and models, shaping the collective taste.
