Yesterday saw the presentation of Astrid Andersen SS19 collection at London fashion week. The Danish designer who quickly rose to fame with her luxury take on sports and leisure wear, with endorsements from the likes of A$AP Ferg and A$AP Rocky, presented a muted collection in mostly earthy tones from beige to reds, to greys. Centering around her basketball meets high fashion aesthetic, the collection saw her present more minimal reiterations of her oversized sports tops and bottoms, with the exception of a few crocodile printed pants. The stand out piece was an evening shirt with an off-center zipper and Asian inspired cut on the collar, which simply ended up beautifully.
