WRAD and Patagonia exhibit at WHITE STREET MARKET Following this years theme of sustainability, fashion becomes increasingly green

From June 16 to 18, in the Tortona area of Milan, the highly anticipated WHITE STREET MARKET will be held. An event aimed at supporting avant-garde fashion in every aspect, offering three days of pure immersion in the Milanese artistic-cultural scene.

The focus will undoubtedly be on the fashion, but this time the concept will embrace a theme that is particularly in focus these days: that of sustainability. A green approach to our constantly evolving world through the presentation of two intersecting realities, those of WRAD and Patagonia. The first Made in Italy brand, and winner of the RedDot Design Award for sustainable innovation, will open its doors to the public at Superstudio Più (Tortona 27), with a workshop to present Mint Fiber, a special fiber obtained from the mint leaf and developed in synergy with Walter Corriga, from Tessile EcoBio.

Patagonia will be the undisputed label protagonist of the WHITE STREET MARKET, and as a giant in the sustainability world, for the occasion it will exhibit the Blue Heart campaign, an initiative aimed at protecting the Balkan region from over 3,000 hydroelectric projects and in so stopping the resulting environmental disaster. A collection of signatures will be organized to give voice and help local communities, accompanied by the launch of the hashtag #SaveTheBlueHeart and #TheDamTruth. Everything will come to life at Tortona 54 (Ex Ansaldo | Base).

The new White Street Market project will also present a special series of exclusive capsules. Among the proposed brands there will be Sergio Tacchini with his co-lab created together with Andrea Crews, in which the sporty design will be renewed and mixed for an unmistakable street-couture style. And again, Atelier & Repairs, an American label dedicated to eco-sustainability, which will take care of re-proposing vintage garments and thus mix the past with the present in a creative and unmistakable way. Finally, Exkite, a brand founded by the former professional kiter Renzo Mancini, who, using kite surf sails, will guide the spectators in his virtuous and innovative story.

Taking care of the environment has never been so fashionable.

The WHITE STREET MARKET is waiting for you!
