As we recently reported the worlds currently most hyped and popular brand, Balenciaga, has just dropped its SS18 collection. Looking back at the runway show and photo campaign shot earlier this year by Robbie Augspurger, we saw its normcore direction continued, with large oversized silhouettes of jackets and pants, and of course there's more chunky shoes coming as well. With a new edition of their divisive Triple S trainer, a new sock trainer and brand new Race Runner trainers. Along with various T’s, jackets, parka, hoodies, sweats and denim articles. The collection features assorted accessories in the form of bags, belts, wallets, totes, socks, and caps. The female collection adds dresses, pumps, handbags, ear rings and scarfs to their collection.
The standout piece is the Lime-green/Black tracksuit top, that we’ve already seen blowing up on various social medias,together with their footwear, which are sure to make an impact over the summer. It remains to be seen if Demna Gvasalia’s quite distinctly unfashionable fashion trend of the moment will continue to grow. Whether you like it or not, we’re betting it will!
