Born in 1982 as a simple gray gym shoe, it was the first running to cost $ 100 debuting as a top model in the industry. Its midsole was characterized by an ENCAP technology, able to guarantee a perfect mix between comfort, movement control and cushioning.

Today, after 36 years of history and success, returns more revolutionized than ever, ready to conquer once again the hearts not only of sportsmen, but also of sneakerhead of our days, a new generation that through New Balance can connect with the past. The exclusive 990v4 enters the scene in a new, ultra-modern and technical look, while maintaining the traditional gray color and distinguishing itself for its iconic style, capable of looking at the future. The upper, made of premium pigskin suede, blends gray nuances and functional navy colors to enhance the "N" brand logo on the sides. To finish, the sneaker is made even more special by the writing "EST. 1982" sewn on the heel.

New Balance has produced 1,500 pairs of 990v4 "1982", which will be sold at the original price of 100 dollars (80 euros) in some pop-ups in 15 different cities around the world.
