BAPE celebrates the cherry blossom season with a mini t-shirt capsule

They are called "SAKURA APE HEAD PHOTO TEE" and "SAKURA COLLEGE TEE". They depict a person wearing a Shark hoodie in front of Mount Fuji and an explosion of pink flowers inside the distinctive ape-shaped logo.
Available in black or white, these t-shirts are the homage of the brand founded in 1993 by Nigo at the most romantic time of the year in Japan: that of cherry blossom.
In the Rising Sun Hanami, the act of looking at the trees in bloom, is a social event and people gather to admire the magical spectacle of nature. The city gardens are filled with people, they organize picnics and let themselves be enchanted by the beautiful pink and white flowers, a metaphor of life and its fleetingness.
The mini capsule collection of graphic t-shirts will arrive online and in BAPE stores worldwide on March 31st.
