Here's how to have the Levi's jacket by Albert Einstein
Available again
March 9th, 2018
We often wonder what it's like to be someone else, maybe a superstar, maybe a kilometer basketball player or simply Einstein, sit there, behind a desk thinking and thinking, while writing surrounded by the gray smoke of a pipe.
What if we told you that "now you can dress his clothes"? That's right. One of the most famous shots of the Nobel Prize shows him wearing a brown leather jacket, and it was precisely that photo that was published in 1938 on Times. It was therefore discovered that the leather jacket had been purchased by Albert in the 1930s and that it was a...Levi's.
After a short time jump, we are in 2018 and, even today, we can not forget that jacket that in its own way was able to make history. Levi's has therefore decided to repropose it for its latest SS18 collection, extracting it from the brand's archives and realizing it again in a limited edition (only 500 pieces), with an exceptionally banned Levi's Vintage Clothing packaging.
The lucky ones will be able to earn this garment that will be sold "... in a special box depicting Einstein wearing his jacket while he smoks a pipe, with the reproduction of the paddle with the number 97 with which it was won at auction, together with a small bottle of perfume created with the help of DS & Durga, which contains the essence of pipe tobacco, paper and vintage leather, as in the original jacket" declared Paul O'Neill, Head of Design, Levi's® Vintage Clothing.
