Jonathan Anderson continues his exploration of the Converse icons with a new drop

Since their first appearance at Pitti Uomo 2017, the collaborative Converse with Jonathan Anderson has eliminated the dividing line that sharply divides into high fashion and streetstyle the sneakerwear.

The progressive obfuscation of this line also continues in the latter collaboration Converse x JW Anderson in which Anderson's emphatic approach opens a dialogue on the way in which an icon evolves over time, adapting, without losing its distinctive touch, to contemporary trends.

The silhouettes chose to witness these many facets are the Thunderbolt and the Chuck 70, reconstructed and rethought to give life, through nuances and provocative cuts, to new designs. The silhouette of the Thunderbolt, which had already caught the attention of Jonathan at the dawn of his collaboration with Converse, is revisited with new materials such as denim and suede, all combined with an unmistakable asymmetrical vision, both in the denim and the one in suede. The Chuck 70, street icon, is instead proposed playing in a sophisticated way on the formalwear canons, while an exclusive Chuck 70 XX Hi, made of flesh-colored leather, offers an extremely personal touch of love and obsession to the designer's detail to an unmistakable classic Converse.

The second collaboration Converse x JW Anderson will be available from March 2, 2018 on Converse, j-w-anderson and in the JW Anderson stores globally.
