Virgil Abloh shows us the work in progress of the exhibition with Takashi Murakami
Opening on February 20 at the Gagosian Gallery in London
February 12th, 2018
Fashion and art.
A union that has its roots far back in time and is continually renewed with more interesting partnership.
The last collaboration to keep an eye on is that between Virgil Abloh and Takashi Murakami.
The designer of Off-White and the Japanese artist are, in fact, working on a co-exhibition.
If the works of art created by the couple (probably made with the technique of silk-screen printing) are still mysterious, little by little, merchandise images begin to emerge. Until now we know that among the elements produced there are a series of t-shirts with the print of William Shakespeare and a tote bag with both the distinctive signs of Abloh and Murakami.
Not enough for you? Then take a look at the work in progress video of the exhibition published by Virgil himself on Instagram.
Remember that the exhibition will be held at the Gagosian Gallery on Davies Street, London, on February 20th.
