The new Gucci Art Works in Milan and New York
And a new, unprecedented Art Wall in Hong Kong that will be revealed in mid-February
February 7th, 2018
Gucci returns to work with the Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal for two new Art Walls in Milan and New York and, in mid-February, also on a new, unprecedented wall in Hong Kong.
After collaborating at the Gucci Gift Giving campaign and the creation of the Gucci SS18 advertising campaign, Monreal will stage its distinctive surreal and dreamlike style through these new murals that have already won us over.
If in New York we can admire a maxi portrait of two women wearing the very latest model of Gucci glasses, for Milan Monreal has been inspired by the famous paintings of the Arnolfini Portrait by Jan van Eyck and The Garden of Delights by Hieronymus Bosch.
Both the Art Walls will remain on display in Lafayette Street in SoHo and in Largo la Foppa in Milan for two months; two walls that are now real canvases on which Gucci exhibits his regular and amazing collaborations between the Maison and the different artists.
