Yo! MY SAINT: the new musical project by KENZO

KENZO reinvents itself for the launch of the new SS18 collection.
The project is called Yo! MY SAINT, an artistic journey that embraces different disciplines, from cinema to music to fashion, different from each other but in perfect harmony within this route signed by KENZO and under the direction of Ana Lily Amirpour.
Everything comes from the creative ethos of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, directors of the brand, they started from the structuring of the collection inspired by the pioneering model Sayoko Yamaguchi and the musical icon Ryuichi Sakamoto to rise something fresh and bold.
Inspiration is around us, it is the Muse, woman with something special, capable of transmitting strong, positive and curious vibrations:
"We thought of Sayoko as a historical muse, and of Ryuichi, whom we adore and obsessed with, like our modern muse," says Humberto, "The great thing about the project is that two women decided to make a film together. It's an incredible artistic project and a conversation between two women: a musician and a director, it was the starting point for everything and now we are excited to see it come to light".
The colors are strong and go hand in hand with the retro touch graphics. All this is reflected not only in the Kenzo SS18 campaign, but also in the clip and contemporary sound of Karen O.
We just have to free the mind and be dragged into this world where KENZO is our one and only guide.
