Rick Owens draws new Birkenstock sandals

Birkenstock has recently launched the series of traveling pop-up The Box, deluxe container-retail with chrome casing designed by Gonzalez Haase AAS that, from Berlin to Milan, passing through NY, will host capsule collections of different designers that reinterpret the commercial space and products of the German brand.
The purpose of the project? Show the company in a new light, like a blank canvas made significant by all the new partners.
On March 16th this store will be parked outside the Rick Owens store on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
For this occasion, the designer has created a limited edition consisting of three classic Birkenstock sandals made of four different materials, such as felt, pony and leather, which will be displayed in The Box, along with a selection of other looks, objects, pieces of furniture, items and accessories by Owens.
All shoes will be available for pre-order on March 1st and for purchase on Rick Owens and Birkenstock channels on March 15th.
