The designer upsets the London Fashion Week with a collection that mix tradition and a futuristic mood

How will be the oriental fashion in the future?
Xander Zhou explains it to us showing and shocking the London Fashion Week with a FW18 collection definitely out of the box.
On the catwalk there were garments that seem to come from the future, for their geomentric shapes, for their metallic colors, for urban prints that are more and more trendy among the contemporary brands. The maxi 'worker' overalls, just like Ghost Busters style, are combined with items in contrast, such as classic shirts, elegant opaque shoes, or dark, minimal and geometric mini sunglasses.
Everything is made even more interesting by the inevitable oriental touch, typical of the collections signed Xander Zhou. For this reason, after the first few minutes spent in the future, we move on to retrace the steps of Chinese history: tradition and religion are honored with long leather tunics decorated with tigers, large kasa (cone-shaped headpieces, symbols of Chinese culture) that cover with their long veils the models' face, capes, jackets that recreate the symbol of Yin and Yang and white and red writings that completely cover the clothes.
What's the strangest thing you can admire in Xander Zhou's FW18 collection? The 'monstrous' fanged shoes that emerge from long dresses. What's that?
