Liam Hodges FW18 is a multicolor tribute to subcultures
Made more precious by a collaboration with FILA

Everybody’s Free (To Wear Sunscreen), a speech by Kurt Vonnegut transformed by Baz Luhrman into song, is not just the piece that closes the Liam Hodges fashion show, but it is the message that the designer seems to want to communicate with his clothes.
The entire Liam Hodges FW18 fashion show is a multicolor and playful tribute to the period of youth, made more precious by a series of pieces made in collaboration with FILA, from a selection of apparel to FILA Disruptor II sneakers.
In this collection, the English designer blends the graphics of cartoon character with Comic Con, children’s TV series of the 90s with youth cultures like New Wave, punk and gabber.
All these inspirations translate into a colorful megamix of stripes, pinstripes, polka dots and plaids, smiley faces, Snapchat ghost logo, clowns that enliven tie-dye denim, jackets, down jackets, trench coats, basic white shirts, loose t-shirts, pants, tracksuits, and suits.
