Another CEO abandons the LVMH Empire: Simon Whitehouse leaves J.W. Anderson
And now who will be his successor?
November 14th, 2017
It’s a time of great change from LVMH.
After Sidney Toledano, who recently said goodbye to his position as CEO of Christian Dior (will be replaced by Fendi’s current CEO, Pietro Beccari), it is now up to Simon Whitehouse to leave his job at J.W. Anderson.
The man is expected to drop this year and apparently originated from the desire of the CEO of a lifestyle change, also of devoting himself to charities.
Whitehouse, already working for Matthew Williamson and Diesel, joined Anderson in June 2014, just eight months after the luxury goods conglomerate LVMH bought a minority share of the brand, becoming the first CEO of the newly formed label.
In just three years the manager has been instrumental in the success of Anderson, multiplying its turnover and encouraging new partnerships with Converse or Japanese retail giant Uniqlo, which has led to the creation of a capsule collection sold out.
LVMH has already begun questioning potential candidates for Whitehouse succession, but there is still no safe name.
