From McQueen to you. Second and third day.

 

The second and third day.

 

Sono passati altri due giorni, altra frenesia all’insegna del look perfetto, o meglio, dello stile perfetto, da incorniciare in pochissimi attimi, lasciando allo spettatore solo magia ed ammirazione.

“Sono le 00.01... Prestissimo caspita, dato che, nella storia di questo marchio, non si è mai finito  prima del 1.00!!! Sono incantata dalla bellissima atmosfera ... Tutti a dir poco allegri e soddisfatti per un altro capolavoro realizzato!
Ma andiamo per gradi... Ci eravamo lasciati a mercoledì ! O mio Dio, sono passati 3 giorni e davvero non me ne sono accorta!! Beh, la cosa più bella di queste giornate è stata la capacità di essere un gruppo unito ed affiatato, che ha lavorato in maniera compatta e creativa condividendo tutto, idee, proposte, soluzioni...
I fitting sono andati avanti alla grande. Giovedì abbiamo iniziato ad occuparci del look book, facendo fitting e shooting, sfruttando entrambi i piani dello spazio “revel”.
Venerdì mattina si decide di spostare tutto al ground floor dove l’acclamato fotografo David Burton ha settato il suo necessaire per realizzare un lookbook con I fiocchi. Modelli che parlano attraverso immagini, con sguardi e posture strutturate su un mood che ha alla base una filosofia molto: I am too cool!!
Iniziano ad arrivare i primi modelli. Kumi, ragazzino del Gana con un viso a dir poco perfetto e capelli afro spettacolari, e' come al solito il primo ad arrivare ai fitting model della stagione. Poi Henrik, Eric, Ian, Jacub... Comincia la prova capelli con Sid, assistente del famosissimo haidresser Guido. In materia acconciature, l’ispirazione è allo spirito libero del bello e dannato, molto libero e spettinato, ma sempre under control, per ottenere quel certo non so che…. Un  fascino incontrollabile. Ed ecco che I ragazzi iniziano a cambiare totalmente I connotati... Diventato dei personaggi che involontariamente iniziano a recitare una parte, una parte che sta a significare molto... Il cambiamento e l’ evoluzione di un marchio, sicuramente in positivo, ma certamente diverso. Purtroppo "la mancanza" si sente... E' un vuoto enorme quello che c'e' in sala, anche solo per quella particolare agitazione ed emozione incontrollata che si scatenava quando Lui arrivava!! Si respirava nell’aria una devozione plateale alla sua genialità!! Tutti al suo cospetto! Mi ritengo fortunatissima ad aver avuto la possibilità di assistere ad un genio di questa portata all'opera! Ritornando a noi, i fitting procedono alla velocità della luce e noi sembriamo una macchina che funziona alla perfezione, consolidata da tempo. Da fare regista a tutto ciò, con attenzione per a ciò che attiene model calling, set up show e styling, l’azienda di produzione Gainsbury&Waiting, colosso mondiale nel mondo della moda.
Ecco, che tra i vari rails della collezione uomo, iniziano a prender forma delle boards con su le prime immagini del fitting della pre donna! Bhe che dire, semplicemente spettacolare!!
Ottimo bilanciamento tra vestiti, abiti da sera, pantaloni e gonne... Tutti impreziositi da embroideries che formano corazze o ricoprono le spalline, un po' alla Michael Jackson, e che rendono il tutto suntuoso e semplicemente da sogno!! Gli abiti lunghi sono creati con stoffe spettacolari di seta, con disegni d’effetto, che riprendono le stampe di alcuni pezzi dell' uomo, ma che fanno ricordare le principesse di una volta. Per non parlare del pizzo rigorosamente flash...
Un sognoooooo!!!! Vestiti e corsetti completamente di pizzo ... Davvero penso di impazzire ... Per fortuna non posso ancora vedere le scarpe!! Attacco di cuore scampato!!”

Other two days has gone by, lots of frenzy looking for the perfect outfit, or better, the perfect style to offer to let the audience in admiration and putting a magic spell on them.

“It’s 00.01 a.m….Quite early if you think that, in the history of this brand, we have never finished before 1.00 a.m. !! I’m in love with the beautiful atmosphere…. Everybody is happy and satisfied for another masterpiece done!
However, let’s go ahead step by step… Last time it was Wednesday… Oh my God, three days already passed…Well the most beautiful thing of those days was the ability of being a group and work all together in a creative way, sharing ideas, purposes and solutions.
Fittings went on greatly. On Thursday we started working on the look book with fittings and shootings on both floors of the “revel” space.
On Friday morning, everything was moved to the ground floor where the famous photographer David Burton set all the necessaire to make a fabulous look book. Models who communicate through pictures, with sights and gestures responding to the mood: I am to cool!!
The models start to come up. Kumi, a guy from Gana, with a perfect face and spectacular Afro hair, is always the first one to arrive at the fitting model stage. Then Eric, Henrik, Ian, Jacub…Sid, the assistant of Guido, the famous hairdresser, starts the hair rehearsal. The inspiration for the hairstyle is taken from the charm of the “beautiful and mad”, uncombed, but always under control.
The models start to change their characteristics. They become characters of a scene with a deep meaning… The change and the evolution of a brand, in positive for sure, but obviously different. Unfortunately the “lack” is so strong… There is a deep emptiness in the area. Even the thrill sensation of His arrive is missed. There was a kind of devotion in the air for Him and his genius.
I feel myself so lucky to had the chance to see him at work!
Back to our point, fittings went ahead fast. The director of the model calling, setting and styling is the fashion colossus Gainsbury&Whiting http://www.gainsburyandwhiting.com/.
Mixed in the various rails of men’s collection, some boards can be seen, showing pictures of the fitting of the anticipation of women’s collection. Just spectacular!
Great balance in number of dresses, evening gown, trousers and skirts… Everything is enriched with padded embroideries all over the figure or over the shoulders in a Mickael Jackson style. Everything is just a dream. Long dresses are made with precious silk textures, with patterns inspired to men’s collection, but so evocative of a past era princess.
Then laces…just flash laces for dresses and corsets…I can be mad…. Luckily I haven’t seen shoes yet… just escape a heart attack!!"
